Need to Return Something?
If for some reason you would like to return an item you have ordered from us, please read the following return procedures before making the return. Please do not return an item without contacting us first so we can issue a return authorization number for your return. Returns made without an authorization number are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Merchandise may be returned for any reason, within fifteen (15) days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price of the merchandise as long as the returned merchandise has been unused, unopened and has not been damaged in any way and you have a Return Authorization Number. All returned merchandise must be in the original unopened manufacturer's container or packaging in which you received it when applicable, as well as still being in the original "new" condition to receive a full credit/refund of the product cost. Shipping fees are NOT refundable.
If you wish to exchange an unused item for something different or a different size, please contact us at 256-341-0115, or by email at sales@calypsoparrot.com within 15 days of receipt of your order for a exchange authorization number to include with your return and to make sure we have the size or style in stock that you wish to exchange your order for. We will fill out an exchange form so when we receive your package it can be exchanged for the item you wish. You will be responsible for any additional shipping fees to send the new item to you unless it was an error on our part. If we made the mistake, we will include extra merchandise to cover your cost of regular mail to send the item back to us for an exchange, or we may issue a UPS pickup call tag to bring the item back to us depending on the situation.
If you wish to return an item after the 15 day return period, there is a 20% restocking fee which will be deducted from any monies to be credited back to your credit card. Shipping fees are not refundable.
If an order is shipped to a gift recipient and you are the receiver of the gift, we can only issue a store credit for the cost of the item(s) being returned, as all refunds will be made only to the customer who purchased the item(s) as a credit back to the original credit card used to purchase the gift. If you need to return an item you received as a gift, please contact us for help at 256-341-0115.
If you receive merchandise that has been damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately so that we may file a claim with the shipping company and replace any damaged merchandise you may have received. You may be required by the shipping company to keep the damaged merchandise for their inspection for up to 10 days, including the box the order arrived in, or they may want to pick up the item for inspection, so please do not throw any damaged items out. Once a claim has been filed we will replace the damaged item(s) as soon as possible from our store and there will be no additional shipping charges to you for replacing any damaged items. If an item cannot be replaced, we will issue a credit to your credit card for a full refund of the damaged item including any original shipping fees which we may have charged for that particular item.
Please contact us for instructions on the return of products before returning them. We will issue a return or exchange authorization number for you to use in returning your package and will be glad to answer any questions you may have concerning a return or exchange.
